I guess I have procrastinated this thing again. Sorry if anyone kept stopping by and nothing new. It will get better in about six weeks when I can take a somewhat extended break from school. I cannot wait for graduation. Gonna drink myself silly for the first couple days, then sleep for a few more, and finally I am going to load up the saddle-bags on the bike and split. I will spin a bottle for which direction, flip a coin for hotel or camping, and hope like hell the potholes aren't too big. Unfortunately, I cannot ride forever so this trip may only be a week long or so. I do have several applications for employment handed out to few of the different universities in the area as well as some of the larger high schools. Hopefully, I can land a job soon so I can get my wife off this damn farm. The owners of the place have said they are not going to fix anything in our house, so technically we are both in the market for new employment. I do however have guaranteed work at my university for the fall semester as an adjunct professor teaching two developmental writng courses and an essay writing class. Compared to a full-time professor the pay is shit, but it triples what I have made the past year. Well this is about all I can muster for now. My schedule has been completely engulfed in finishing my senior research and getting ready for the presentations I have to make in Kansas City this next week. I guess I better explain. Several classmates and myself have been selected to present three of our recent studies at the Southwestern Psychological Association's (SWPA) National convention. It is sort of a big deal but more so for my classmates becasue they are staying in the field of psychology whereas I will continue my studies in higher education. I am going now, again sorry for the lack of posting, hope to hear from ya.
